The Fundación Biomédica at Hospital de La Princesa gives support and advice to Hospital Universitario de La Princesa professionals and researchers as well as to the researchers from the centres that make up the Instituto de Investigación Biomédica (Biomedical Research Institute).

The Foundation manages research and innovation in the field of health, promoting it and making the necessary means and resources available to our researchers and the rest of society, having a significant impact on the health and quality of life of our patients.

The technical secretariat of the IIS carries out dissemination activities for public and private calls nationally and internationally. It also reviews project documentation in order to adapt documents to these calls and to conduct follow-ups. Another important function of the secretariat is registering and managing the Institute’s staff, collection of bibliometric indicators, such as patents, publications, theses, book chapters and all activities related to the Institute.
